There are many benefits to fitness testing.

The major use is to establish the areas which need improvement, and then training programmes can be modified accordingly. Your training time can be used more efficiently, and you will get the results you want - sooner.

The initial testing session can give the individual a fitness baseline, so that future testing can be compared to this and changes can be noted.

A baseline is especially important if you are about to embark on a new training phase. By repeating tests at regular intervals, you can get an idea of the effectiveness of the training programme. The time frame between tests may vary to suit an individuals specific requirements. It usually takes a minimum of 2-6 weeks to see a demonstrable change in any aspect of fitness. Remember - this is not a test - this is a Health MOT..

Now available are a range of fitness and health tests to suit your needs. You simply book in for an appointment and turn up with your training gear and we will assess you in the following way.

  • Give an accurate reading of your blood pressure
  • Body Fat Analysis
  • Body mass index
  • Measure Aerobic fitness
  • Measure Anaerobic fitness
  • Muscular endurance tests
  • Provide accurate weight height and body measurements to analyse if your programme is working
  • Postural corrections and recommendations

The whole test lasts approximately 45 minutes and costs only £15. Please book in with our professional trainers and we will assess you and make recommendations on how you can improve to get the results you want - sooner.

(NOTE: 2 hours prior to your assessment do not eat or drink alcohol or caffeine and avoid smoking - if you are a smoker)
